Automotive Body Repair Technician - a new programme available from the 2026/27 school year at the Automotive School Complex in Legnica at the first-level vocational school.
Duration: 3 years
Graduates obtain professional qualifications upon passing the exam for the qualification: MOT.01 – Diagnosis and Repair of Vehicle Body Structures
Automotive Body Repair Technician:
This programme is designed for young people interested in the automotive industry who want to work with various car models. Students gain knowledge and practical skills in technical assessment, repair and proper anti-corrosion protection of vehicle body structures. The curriculum also includes welding methods, modern technologies and advanced materials such as high-strength steels.
Given the wide scope of professional qualifications, the acquired skills can also be applied in many related professions.
The programme is introduced under class patronage and in close cooperation with Mercedes-Benz in Jawor, as well as in connection with the planned opening of the new Mercedes-Benz Vans light commercial vehicle plant. This creates real opportunities for stable career development, continuous professional training in new technologies and further mastery of the trade.

This new educational offer at the Automotive School Complex in Legnica is aimed at young people planning a career in the automotive sector. Automotive painting remains a profession where human precision and experience are irreplaceable, despite increasing automation. The growing number of vehicles continues to drive demand for repair and refinishing services.
Close cooperation with Mercedes-Benz in Jawor, the planned opening of the new Mercedes-Benz Vans light commercial vehicle plant, and the class patronage programme form the foundation for launching this specialisation.
