Also at this year Mercedes-Benz Manufacturing Poland was present at the Festival of Bread and Gingerbread – one of the most important events in Jawor. At the company stand we served gingerbread and Bavarian pretzels. Visitors also had the opportunity to take part in a contest of knowledge about the brand and talk about their professional future.

For three years now Mercedes-Benz Manufacturing Poland has been taking part in the celebration of bread and gingerbread in Jawor. It is one of the biggest meetings of local bakery and confectionery masters and a good opportunity for MBMPL to meet with the inhabitants of Jawor in a relaxed atmosphere. This year we have prepared a contest for the visitors of the stand concerning the knowledge about the brand. Each good answer was rewarded with a gift, and those willing could compete for the main prize – training and off-road ride in a Mercedes G-Class. Moreover, each visitor to the Market Square in Jawor from 23rd to 25th August could ask our HR Department colleagues about the recruitment process.

The competition was very popular, we awarded 300 people. In the second part of its, the participants answered the question: Who would you take with you for a ride in a Mercedes G-Class and why? We must admit that they showed great creativity here. The jury decided to award two prizes and the main prize: a training course and an off-road ride in a Mercedes G-Class. The awards on the stage of the Bread and Gingerbread Festival were presented by Dr. Andreas Schenkel, CEO Mercedes-Benz Manufacturing Poland.
