Record Sales for the seventh consecutive year Mercedes-Benz

For Mercedes-Benz last year was a record year in the history of sales. In 2017, world sales of Mercedes vehicles was nearly 2.3 million (an increase of 9.9% over the year 2016). No other German automaker achieved such a large increase in the premium market segment. Record sales of Mercedes E Class and SUVs (more than 800,000 SUVs were sold in 2017, an increase of 14%) were the main reasons for such good results.

The Mercedes brand achieved the greatest number of registered vehicles in the premium segment in many countries, including Poland, where nearly 16,800 passenger vehicles were sold (an increase of 42.4%!). Excellent results in three key regions – Europe, Asia Pacific, and NAFTA, meant that Mercedes took first place (for the second year in a row) in the automotive industry in terms of sales of passenger vehicles in the premium market segment.

Record sales were also achieved in the fourth quarter of 2017 (more than 572,000 units, +4,8%) as well as the last month of 2017- in December more than 193,500 Mercedes-Benz automobiles were sold (+1.7%).
