International Women’s Day at the Mercedes factory

For the 111th time, we are celebrating Women’s Day, established in memory of the women’s strikes in New York in November 1909. On March 8, it reminds us that women had to fight for the right to work and decent wages. The Mercedes factory in Jawor already employs 1,240 employees, 41% of whom are women. They don’t have to fight for their rights anymore. In the same positions as colleagues, they are paid the same. There is no gender pay gap in the factory. Mercedes-Benz Manufacturing Poland bows low to all women in Poland – because we know that we would not be able to do it without you!
